I remember the first time I saw "The Goonies" or “La Boum”. Such movies always left a big impression on me. They made me see life from a renewed perspective. Years later, they become nostalgic flashbacks and a source of inspiration for strong visual compositions. I’m painting to make their emotional impact count. Like an old memory, the image has taken on an abstract form. My paintings are not about the details but about their intensity. It also gives the viewer the freedom to decide for themselves which scene is unfolding in front of them.
